Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since 1966, when designers at Letraset and James Mosley, the librarian at St Bride Printing Library in London, took a 1914 Cicero translation and scrambled it to make dummy text for Letraset's Body Type sheets. It has survived not only many decades, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised thanks to these sheets and more recently with desktop publishing software including versions of Lorem Ipsum. 2010
University founded
GS University established in Hapur, UP with the first batch of MBBS students and a founding hospital.
2013
Hospital expansion
Teaching hospital expanded to 600 beds with new specialty departments including surgery and paediatrics.
2016
NMC recognition
Received full recognition from the National Medical Commission for all postgraduate programmes.
2019
NAAC accreditation
Awarded NAAC Grade A accreditation, cementing position as a quality medical institution in UP.
2024
1,130-bed hospital
Hospital reaches 1,130 beds. 16+ PG programmes running. 2,000+ students enrolled. NIRF ranked.
