A qualified MBBS physician, Dr. Ankit Sharma is an entrepreneur with a difference. Brilliant, confident, energetic and quick-thinking, he is an encyclopaedia of progressive ideas which bespeak of quality and originality, break boundaries, innovate on techniques, and challenge the norms with modern-day philosophies. He is deeply wedded to the cause of societal reform and the well-being of the community. Dr. Ankit Sharma is the Secretary of Shri Jaipal Singh Sharma Trust.

Message from the Vice Chancellor

Statesman, clinician, researcher, teacher, scholar, author, and thinker, known for his keen administrative and organizational capabilities, avant-garde approach and ethical professionalism, Prof. Yatish Agarwal is Vice Chancellor of G.S. University.

He was till recent heading the office of Dean, University School of Medicine & Allied Health Sciences, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, where he shepherded more than 30 medical colleges, paramedical institutions, and nursing colleges, and marshalled more than 70 academic programmes. He held several batons in Indraprastha University, and assumed the charge of Vice Chancellor a number of times.

Dr. Agarwal is Fellow, Foundation of Detection of Early Gastric Carcinoma, Tokyo; WHO Fellow, Mahidol University, Thailand; and has been the National Consultant WHO India.

He harbours deep and cohesive ties with a large number of public institutions both in the governmental and non-governmental sector. He has been associated with NBEMS, UPSC, UGC, AIIMS, NMC, DMC, and NCERT in various capacities. He has been adviser, author and editor to major publishing giants like Elsevier, Wolters Kluwer, Lippincott, Williams and Wilkins, Rupa & Co., Rajkamal, NBT, and Orient; and has been a board member of several philanthropic bodies and national juries.
